Delete your Sweet As data

You can request deletion of your Sweet As data at any time. Two ways, depending on what you want removed.

Delete your full Sweet As account

Open the Sweet As app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. This removes your profile, eatlists, reviews, and any data we've received from Facebook or Instagram. The deletion completes immediately; in rare cases backups may retain the data for up to 30 days before being purged.

Disconnect a social account only

If you only want to disconnect Facebook or Instagram (without deleting your Sweet As account):

• In the app: Settings → Connected accounts → tap the account → Disconnect.
• From Facebook / Instagram: Settings & privacy → Apps and websites → find Sweet As → Remove. Meta will send us an automated deletion request and the corresponding data on our side will be removed.

Email request

If you can't access the app or have questions, email info@sweetasapp.com.au from the address associated with your Sweet As account. Include enough detail to identify your account (registered email, IG handle if connected) and we'll process the deletion within a reasonable time.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

• Your profile, username, photo, and bio
• Eatlists, reviews, follows, and other content you created
• OAuth tokens we hold for connected social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and any social-platform content we'd mirrored from those accounts to display in the app
• Notification preferences, taste profile, and saved venues

Aggregate, de-identified analytics that can no longer be linked back to you may be retained.
